Under Get Assistance, click on the button that says Assist another person.
After contacting Regional Tech, we will provide you with a security code. This is a unique code that ensures your connection is secure.
Keep your Quick Assist window open while waiting for the code.
Once you receive the code from us (via phone, email, or chat), enter it in the Code from assistant field under Get assistance.
Click Submit.
After entering the code, you’ll be asked to allow Regional Tech to either View or Take Full Control of your computer.
Choose Allow or Yes when prompted.
If you want us to solve the issue directly, choose Full Control.
If you prefer us only to view your screen while guiding you, select View Screen.
Once we’re connected, you’ll see a notification that Regional Tech is now remotely connected to your computer.
You can always end the session at any time by closing Quick Assist if you feel uncomfortable or the issue has been resolved.
When the session is over, either we or you will end the connection, and your computer will return to its regular state.
It’s a good idea to restart your computer afterward to ensure everything is running smoothly.
